German software provider brings new benefit to hoteliers across whole Europe

Booking, Expedia, Lastminute, hotelbeds and HRS are just a few of hundreds of hotel booking platforms which hoteliers use to generate a full house. Therefor the daily system maintenance is one of the most important tasks in running hotel operations. The German software manufacturer Channelmanager GmbH has taken on this time-consuming work, and developed an internet-based software in 2005, the "Channelmanager". Now the third version of the channel manager enters the market.
After the second version of the Channelmanager has set new standards for the administration of quotas and prices for hotels, the Channelmanager 3 is now going to follow in the successful footsteps of its precursor. Its technology convinces through the enhanced language settings: English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Turkish. In addition, the synchronization speed has been improved by 90%. This gives hoteliers the confidence that price and quota changes will be transmitted at all connected channels within a few seconds. Long-reigning time of waiting belongs with the new channel management system now to the past. But the Channelmanager 3 can do even more: The software can be equipped with various automatic processes, which means that complex knowledge of how booking portals work is not necessarily needed. The Channelmanager runs such processes automatically. The “Smart-Yielding” feature adjusts prices automatically depending on room occupancy. The Channelmanager can through “rates splitting“–depending on occupancy-control the splitting of available rooms to various booking platforms. This leads to an optimal degree of capacity utilisation and an immense increase in the RevPar.
But what does the future hold? Michael Lux, CEO of Channelmanager GmbH promises: "Our Channelmanager 3 is designed as a suite solution. The new product ,Hotel Tracker' helps the owner to compare his room price to its competitors and can control his prices and restrictions therefore faster and more detailed."
In future, the hotel industry will certainly hear more from the Channelmanager.

The company was founded in late 2008 by Steven Welz and Michael Lux. The first version of the "Channelmanager" was developed by the partner company Web-Media in 2005.
