Kids' Money Books Teach Value, Art, and Responsibility

Did you know how to budget, invest, or save before the age of 18? Neither did Jasmine Paul. Certified Financial Education Instructor, Jasmine Paul is on a mission to raise wealthy kids. She's created not one but two resources designed to teach and make wealth fun!

Jasmine Paul is the author of the Reader's Favorite and Parents.com Top Ten Best Money Books to Teach Kids About Money, A Boy, a Budget, and a Dream. She now has two new books, Granny's Vintage Camera and the Wealth Playground Financial Literacy Activity Workbook available on Kickstarter.

Both books were written with youth and adults in mind. Jasmine partnered with a team of editors, curriculum developers, educators, and kids to bring this project to life. With a goal of $8,500 by Mar 10, 2022, Jasmine's campaign was fully funded in less than 72 hours! Jasmine's stretch goals include translating the project to ensure more inclusive/diverse access!

"I want families to talk about money before bedtime, this makes money less intimidating for both children and parents." Jasmine's first book, A Boy, a Budget, and Dream has sold more than 2500 copies worldwide and has helped readers save $5,000. "I hope my books will spark a change in the lives of children and families." With close to 50% of Americans who don't have emergency savings, financial literacy is important more than ever.

Last year, Jasmine's company, CreateFinStew, donated over 200 books to local barbershops as part of their barbershop book initiative. The Central Delaware Chapter of the NAACP modeled the initiative and created the monthly "Books for Barbershops'' Program to increase literacy in the inner city Dover area. She will donate 50 books to this initiative and additional 50 books to Kidezonomics in St. Petersburg, FL upon completion of the campaign!

Jasmine Paul is currently based in San Antonio, TX. She is a Certified Financial Education Instructor who desires youth and their families to have healthy money conversations! Her past partnerships include The Taco Bell Foundation, the Delaware Adolescent Program Inc., Kidezonomics, and more.
