SilverCreations offers new solution to professional document scanning with sceyeX-A3

March 13th 2013, German company SilverCreations introduces their professional and portable instant scanner model sceyeX-A3, packed with features and the ability to accommodate scanning all document sizes of up to A3 quick and easily.

The contact-free, high resolution document camera improves work flow and simplifies the process of scanning objects which would normally be difficult or impossible with conventional or feed scanners such as books, magazines and receipts.

"In just 1 second, any document can be automatically captured, straightened, cropped and displayed on screen." The user simply places the document in the area on their table which is marked with a laser projection, and one second later the scan is on the computer.
Scanned documents can also be saved as searchable PDF files with a full text layer, a format which makes the documents easily retrievable by typing in keywords using Windows Search or Mac Spotlight.

The non-existence of moving parts and non-contact of documents means that sceyeX is maintenance free, effectively reducing the running costs of the device. Typical problems faced by feeder scanners which normally waste time, such as removing staples and ensuring the paper won't jam become obsolete.

The added new feature Bookmode, allows the user to scan both pages of a book in one step; sceye automatically captures and creates two separate pages and retouches out fingers. All the users has to do is turn the pages. sceye can also recognize up to 30 separate objects placed in the scan area and capture them in one scan with sceye Multiscan.

sceye combines innovative technology with high comfort, through its simplified operation and automatic functions (auto-capture/crop/straighten). This high automation level is the source of efficiency, as the user doesn't need to take care of these processes themselves. In one second the document is captured and the refined scan result on the computer.

sceyeX is also fully compatible with Max OS with its stylish and sofisticated program sceye Workbench. After scanning documents they are visible in a brilliant Coverflow view.
