The Alfa Art Gallery Thanks its Sponsors of the 2013 New Brunswick Art Salon

Press release from: Alfa Art Gallery

The Alfa Art Gallery would like to extend a wholehearted thank you to the Magyar Bank Charitable Foundation, for its sponsorship of the 2013 New Brunswick Art Salon.

The Alfa Art Gallery New Brunswick Art Salon has been a successful program for the past three years. Previously two times, now three times (Winter: Photography, Spring: Water Color/Mixed Media, Fall: Oil Color/Mixed Media) during the year, we present salons exhibiting emerging and professional artists in different mediums. The goal of these salons is to bridge the gap between artists and their communities, as well as to unify the diverse city of New Brunswick through the use of art.

Originating in Paris in the 18th century, art salons were the most anticipated annual and biannual events. These salons provided artists with the opportunity to exhibit their work alongside their contemporaries, while receiving critical, as well as public, response. Inspired by the historical Parisian Salons, Alfa Art Gallery holds salons to showcase the talent of local and nearby artists to the New Brunswick public.

The Magyar Bank Charitable Foundation’s generous contribution of $500 will attract more talented artists to participate in future New Brunswick Art Salon Exhibitions, and will therefore continue to enhance the New Brunswick community.

As we continue to grow as an organization, please know that partnerships with our sponsors are vital to our success as an integral part of the New Brunswick community. We truly appreciate your support.

On behalf of the Alfa Art Gallery:

Galina Kourteva, Vice Chairman
