Bookings up by 37% for CultSwitch clients – Channel Management pays off for hotels

02-26-2013 07:28 PM CET | Tourism, Cars, Traffic

Press release from: Cultuzz Digital Media GmbH

For hotels using the “CultSwitch” channel management system by Berlin-based Cultuzz Digital Media GmbH, 2012 proved to be an exceptionally successful year. The number of overnight stays per hotel processed via CultSwitch increased by 37% year on year. “Of course we are aware that online bookings are increasing in general, but we are convinced that we have made a substantial contribution to this growth through our committed service, individualized support and our many new booking channels,” explains Annika Hillebrand, Head of Sales CultSwitch.

“The result clearly shows how important it is to have all vacant rooms available on as many channels as possible. It is impossible to perform this type of maintenance manually. You need sophisticated and reliable technology and a supervisor who is familiar with the various options and special features of the channels,” adds Dr. Reinhard Vogel, Managing Director of Cultuzz Digital Media GmbH. “Cultuzz now has more than 100 employees, who are constantly updating the technology and are always striving to increase bookings for our clients.”

Dr. Vogel also sees the CultSwitch commission model as an important reason for the large number of additional bookings: “Our customer support staff works very closely with each individual hotel because our commissions and salaries are based on the number of bookings – that’s a real incentive!” Thanks to this commission model, the customer support staff at Cultuzz pursues the same aims as the hotels: more bookings, more revenues, more earnings.

If you would like to find out more about CultSwitch, visit our website or meet the CultSwitch staff in person at ITB Berlin from March 6 to 10. An e-mail to marketing@cultuzz.com is all it takes to book your appointment.
