Press release from: Astellia

Rennes, France, February 20th 2013 - Astellia, a leading provider of monitoring solutions for the optimization of mobile network QoS and QoE, has selected MicroStrategy® Incorporated, a leading worldwide provider of business intelligence (BI) and mobile software technology, to leverage the vast amounts of data captured by Astellia’s high capacity probing system and bring network intelligence to mobile operators.

Astellia has integrated the MicroStrategy BI Platform™ into Nova, its latest-generation monitoring solution, to perform seamless and multidimensional analytics. Nova can instantly correlate petabytes of information on network performance, handset behavior, groups of subscribers and mobile applications.

Nova provides graphically rich dashboards which restitute KPIs on the fly to arm mobile operators with the information they need to take proper action. Users can even share this critical information with colleagues via the integrated collaborative features. For instance, color-coded heat maps highlighting weak network elements or group of subscribers at risk of churning can be shared by email without losing their interactive functionality.

Developed on the MicroStrategy BI Platform™, Nova dashboards are very intuitive and user-friendly and convey real-time information to web browsers and applications on mobile devices. Hereby, managers can consult their personalized dashboards on their tablets and increase their productivity while being on the move.

“The MicroStrategy Mobile App Platform enables organizations, including leading telecommunications providers, to build a wide variety of essential mobile apps that deliver workflows, transactions, mobile operations systems access, multimedia, and analytics in compelling customer native apps,” said Dan Kerzner, Senior Vice President of Mobile, MicroStrategy. “Astellia’s Nova solution, developed on the MicroStrategy Mobile platform, is an ideal fit for providing mobile operators with the insights they need to monitor quality of service and improve the customer experience. We’re pleased that MicroStrategy Mobile App Platform is an integral component of the new Nova Monitoring Solution and look forward to the solution being used to move mobile operators towards more profitable networks and services.”

“Through our relationship with MicroStrategy, we are opening up new horizons to network and customer analytics. We provide mobile operators with high-performance data analysis across multiple data sets. Hereby, we can ensure them to have fast and easy access to key performance metrics in order to make better, data-driven business decisions.” said Frédéric Vergine, Vice President Products at Astellia.
