Silicon Oasis TechForum Networking Event to Spotlight SMB’s and Entrepreneurs

Dubai-UAE: 10 February, 2013 - Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), in collaboration with Optimus Technology and Telecommunications, today announced the seventh edition of the Silicon Oasis TechForum networking event will aim to promote small and medium businesses (SMB’s) and entrepreneurship through showcasing successful case studies and examining the potential of the sector.

The event is scheduled to be held on 12 February at the DSO-based Rochester Institute of Technology in Dubai.

Zaina Kanaan, co-founder and marketing manager of ananasa.com, will highlight her experience of starting out as an employee and growing into an entrepreneur. Additionally, Jebin George, IDC’s Senior Research Analyst, Verticals, Middle East, Africa and Turkey, will provide insight on ‘IT Spending Trends among Small and Medium Businesses in the MEA’.

Ghanim Al Falasi, Senior Vice-President, Corporate Services at DSOA, said: “We are pleased to announce the seventh Silicon Oasis TechForum Networking evening.
