The Open Security Summit is returning for its 1st 2022 mini-summit edition on the 10th-14th of January. The event runs for five days and consists of leading figures in the developers and application security sector. Over the course of the event, professionals host in-depth presentations, covering topics such as DevSecops, threat modelling, cybersecurity, and social engineering, to name a few. The main event will be entirely virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic and is accessible to those who wish to gain a deeper insight into application security.

Open Security Summit sessions are led by key players in the application security industry. Here, guests and attendees not only learn about the vital importance and application of cyber security but also get a chance to partake in challenges that hone their skills, build valuable networks, and collaborate with professionals. Headliners include CEOs, co-founders, CISOs and other great security leaders of different cyber-security and app sec companies in the industry.

Leaders in the OWASP, security, development and vendor companies present a multitude of expertise that help audience members uplift their knowledge base. Rigorous working/training sessions enable attendees to face real-life security challenges alongside like-minded individuals. Through these sessions, you'll be able to grasp difficult concepts and craft viable solutions that can be applied in the future.

Attendees must register via the Open Security Summit Portal and find the sessions they wish to attend. They will then receive links to join the Open Security Summit online. All attendees will be encouraged to participate to gain the best outcome from the summit itself. Most of the sessions call for an immersive experience as well as collaboration with other guests to publish findings and deliverables for the wider InfoSec/CyberSec Community.
