With CURADIO, a new type of online radio platform is released
All of the stations, all of the time
After many years of development, the Berlin media and technology company CUGATE AG presents the online radio platform CURADIO as a beta version today. A new and innovative interface enables users to discover new radio stations around the world. Using the “digital barcode” technology developed by CUGATE AG and patented worldwide, every song played is identified and linked to YouTube and the most popular streaming services. In addition, hotels can be booked in the respective locations via Booking.com and restaurants can be found via a TripAdvisor integration.
“With our revolutionary platform, it should be made possible for the listener to take a “journey of the mind” to the most diverse places. With the local radio stations, he can completely immerse himself in the area and find out about other offers in the area he has chosen. And if he should like a song, an artist or a station, he can save everything in his profile ”, says company founder H. Memo Rhein.
CURADIO is initially only available via the web, an app version for mobile phones is being worked on. The offer is currently still free of charge and is financed through advertising. In the next expansion stage, a subscription model will be introduced that enables additional functions in addition to ad-free access.
