‘Ek Thi Daayan’ is an upcoming Bollywood musical thriller film, directed by Kannan Iyer

Ek Thi Daayan is the new thriller production of Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Vishal Bharadwaj under Balaji Motion Pictures. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, who will be sharing the screen space with Konkona Sen Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin.
Recently first trailer of the film was unveiled along with Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola. The trailer received positive responses from the critics as well as caught the eyeballs of the audiences. The second trailer of the film was unveiled at the finale of Bigg Boss Season 6 on 12 January 2013.
Ek Thi Daayan is not a horror film, but a supernatural mystery. Emraan Hashmi, who is portraying a magician in the film, can describe the nature of a witch through sketches. According to Kalki, “Ek Thi Daayan is about a witch and a magician. The mystery is that there are three possible 'daayans' and you guys will probably keep guessing that which of us is the daayan."
