Local self-employed become the largest brand in the world

The corona pandemic has shown many self-employed people how important reach is for their existence. Those who fail to reach their customers have no chance of generating sales. The political approach to a solution, the expansion of digitization. Hardly considered, with such political objectives, that power in the Internet has been with a few large Internet companies based in the USA for years.

The allegations against these TECH giants are enormous, e.g. the promotion of hatred, violence and addiction, manipulation of reach and users as well as the abuse of market power on the Internet are mentioned.

Small and medium-sized enterprises - SMEs for short - are limited to a small number of online platforms in the area of online sales channels or brand advertising. This market design without real competition allows online platforms to charge any price for advertising and reach. In some cases, up to EUR 50.00 for a click or up to 45% commissions are paid on sales platforms.

The APOOS project from the Hanseatic city of Buxtehude (Hamburg / Germany) will change this fact and draws attention to the fact that SMEs will be the strongest power on the Internet, provided the majority of the self-employed now join forces.
That is why the project founder Börge-H. Spröde starts a crowdfunding on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, so that the self-employed and consumers get an internet platform that represents their interests.

The middle class is an important mainstay for every domestic economy. Independence on the Internet remains an important cornerstone for free trade without monopolies. Otherwise there will be an unforeseeable relationship of dependency on the current online platforms, which will put more than jobs at risk, explains the creator of the APOOS project.

A positive side effect is an enormous savings potential in the area of advertising expenditure for online marketing. Furthermore, local self-employed will benefit from the possibility of doing additional business from online purchases locally.

The project's petition, which has more than 30,000 supporters, shows that consumers want more fairness on the Internet. The success of this crowdfunding - information at: https://www.startnext.com/en/nichtsextra - thus determines the independence of our medium-sized businesses.
