New catalogue “crimp style connectors“
Crimp style connectors
EVG's new catalogue "crimp style connectors" currently presents on their website www.evg.eu pitches from 1.0 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 2.2 / 2.5 / 2.54 / 3.0 and 3.5 mm. Additions will be made regularly until a range of pitch 1.0 up to 11.0 mm is shown. At first this catalogue will be available as an online version, and then later after completion as a printed catalogue. Marketable series of well known manufacturers such as JST, Molex, Lumberg, TE Connectivity (tyco electronics) and FCI are shown in EVG's catalogue.
Beside board-to-wire and wire-to-wire connectors you can find interlockable connectors, versions protected against polarity reversal and as well for direct wall mounting. They are all clearly presented with drawings, photos and technical specifications.
For large series the installation of the contacts on single braids will be done on fully automatic machines. EVG has got machines that can produce more than 100,000 braids per day. The single braids can be processed fully automatically from AWG 32 up to a cross-section of AWG 14 (approximately 2,5mm²). The processed materials are PVC, PUR, Teflon and silicone. After testing even AWG36 is possible. Beside the one- or two-side installation of contacts, the braids can be alternatively twisted or tinned. For quality reasons even smaller series are manufactured on fully automatic machines. There is also a machine available that simultaneously monitors the quality of the crimping force.
EVG has a wide range of crimping tools for all marketable contacts. Semi-automatic machines, crimping tools and also hand tools can be bought or hired.
