The New EHV+ Series from Hitachi
The New Hitachi and CoDeSys – a strong connectionDüsseldorf, November 2012. The new EHV+ series consists of two CPUs with memory capacities of 512 or 2048 kilobytes. Thanks to the onboard Ethernet interface, the CPUs are compatible with a variety of open networks. Alongside CoDeSys V3.4 SP4 HF1, the EHV+ series offers a wide range of precise, digital, analog, remote I/O, and positioning and temperature measurement modules. In addition to the common communication pro-tocols Modbus TCP Client and Modbus RTU Master, the new EtherCAT-Master is also now available.
The user can choose freely among all common programming languages, as CoDeSys V3.4 SP4 HF1 complies with all IEC 61131-3 standards.
In addition to the usual programming functions, EHV+ also offers powerful visualization functions such as an integrated graphical editor, which is useful for testing, commission-ing, and diagnostic purposes.
EHV-CoDeSys is the leading programming software on the market that conforms to the IEC 61131-3 standard and contains all six specified editors (KOP, AWL, FBS, ST, AS, and CFC).
In comparison to CoDeSys V2.3, the ST programming language was added as well as the possibility of object-oriented programming (OOP), which allows programming errors to be recognized and corrected faster.
