TPG The Project Group Kicks off International Expansion with TPG America

Munich, Germany/Doylestown, PA/USA. 03 July 2007 – TPG The Project Group GmbH, one of the top Microsoft Premier Project Partners in Europe and the world’s leading provider of Microsoft Project add-in products, today announced the creation of a US-based subsidiary, TPG The Project Group America Inc. The TPG America office is located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and will assume responsibility for sales and implementation of TPG products on the American continents. The new office will put a particular focus on TPG PSLink, the world’s most widely used product for integrating Microsoft Project with SAP, as well as on the implementation of enterprise-wide IT solutions for Microsoft Project-based project management.

“Over the last few months, we’ve been seeing extremely strong demand from US companies for our products, and particularly for TPG PSLink, which integrates Microsoft Project with SAP”, said Stavros Georgantzis, Managing Director of TPG The Project Group in Munich, Germany. He noted that the company had decided to establish a local office because American customers expect to be served by a local office and because the high level of demand was difficult to manage from Germany. “It was clear to us that we could only do this successfully with proper support by local staff. That’s why we’re delighted to have Paul Szyarto on board. He’s a hugely talented professional and has a deep knowledge of our products as well as of the American markets for Microsoft Project and SAP. Together with us here in Munich, Paul will be developing the company in the US,” added Georgantzis.

Paul Szyarto has been named as CEO of the new corporation and Stavros Georgantzis as CFO. Dr. Thomas Henkelmann, TPG’s Director of Consulting Services, completes the three-man board of directors of TPG The Project Group America Inc., based in Doylestown, PA, near Philadelphia.
