The Post Morrow Foundation Partners with OnCell to Provide a Mobile Cell Phone Tour

The Post-Morrow Foundation, the Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society and the Village of Bellport of Long Island, NY have joined together to partner with OnCell and offer a cell phone tour of the Bellport-Brookhaven Hamlet area. This mobile tour has been developed to inform and educate local residents and visitors to this area about the historical, rural and cultural character of the hamlet of Brookhaven and the Village of Bellport.

The cell phone tour includes stops on open space and agricultural land, as well as historically and culturally significant properties and buildings that reflect the rural and historic character of the Bellport-Brookhaven area. It will include the Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society Museum. Through OnCell’s mobile tour technology, visitors can take the tour using their own mobile device.

To begin the tour, visitors call the OnCell tour number (631) 866-7049. Visitors can press 1 to start the Post-Morrow Foundation tour of Brookhaven Hamlet, 200 to start the Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society tour, and 400 to start the Village of Bellport tour. As visitors move through the neighborhood, they will notice small green signs indicating a stop, or point of interest, on the cell phone audio tour. If visitors have remained on the call, they may simply press in the number on the sign or redial at any time and press the desired number. The Post Morrow Foundation encourages visitors to leave feedback by pressing star-zero (*0) on their phones while on the audio tour.
