These 2 guys from India are bringing some amazing lives to limelight with LIVES UNHYPED

It has been 2 years since the world is going through a pandemic. While millions lost their jobs or source of income, these 2 guys from India decided to focus on something positive. Two friends since college Abhishek (33) and Sachin (33) from a small town in India set out to find the light at the end of this tunnel. They decided to interview some personalities who are somehow making ends meet while keeping their families happy in these testing times.
They started a YouTube channel named ‘LIVES UNHYPED’ and reached out to people who were working in different professions. Their purpose was to share their stories and figure out how the pandemic has affected their personal and professional lives.
The first episode of this documentary series features Captain Arjun Kadyan, who is a pilot in a leading commercial airline in India. He shared that the pandemic resulted in 40-50% salary cut which made things difficult for his family. On the bright side, the frequency of flights reduced greatly, and he got to spend more quality time with his kids.
In subsequent episodes, the creators interviewed entrepreneurs and lawyers, who made some important remarks on how people need to learn to keep going even when the future is so uncertain.
The documentary series received praises from some renowned personalities who expressed willingness to become part of the upcoming episodes. But because of the second wave of COVID, the series came to a halt.
“It was a bit disappointing, but we had to keep going. After all, this is what the series is about. To see the bright side, I got plenty of time to polish my editing skills.”, said Sachin, one of the creators who also happens to be the editor of the docuseries. Abhishek expressed relief that the second wave is now over, and they are all set to interview their next guest, a group of cyclists in Chandigarh. The focus of this episode will be the efforts of the cyclists’ group in protecting the environment and to offset the impact of climate change.
“The next episode will bring back the series from hibernation and it will feature a refreshed format.”, the creators are hoping. The teaser for the next episode will be released shortly in the coming weeks. The creators really want more and more people to watch and share the docuseries amid the pandemic so they can bring a positive change in the lives of affected families. This is what LIVES UNHYPED truly stands for.
