New corrosion and flame-retardant Products
Besides the already well established products of the MIOX-series, suitable for many different applications and formulae, the GEORG H. LUH GmbH now offers a new “FeOMica“- range within their supply portfolio, with excellent technical properties at an extremely competitive price.
Additionally to its excellent corrosion protection properties the new FeOMica-series reacts favourably to UV-protection, mechanical properties and thermal conductivity in coatings. It is also very suitable for effect pigmentation in dark metallic colours.
As a mineral alternative to the toxic, and in many applications already prohibited halogenated flame-retardant, GEORG H. LUH GmbH has been offering expandable graphite as an intumescent flame- retardant additive for many years.
Expandable graphite has proved its value of being an efficient and environmentally friendly flame- retardant additive in many applications e.g. polyurethane foam or in roof sheets. Especially for the application in coatings, the new product “PX 96/1“has been developed with optimal sized particles. It is easily handled and has a very low sedimentation tendency.
Upon request all different types of expandable graphite are available, also in large master batches.
