Exhilway Private Capital Market To List 60 Companies

Exhilway PCM which turned operational in April this year has seen over 100 private equity investors taking keen interest in the companies listed on it. The amount committed for investment on Exhilway PCM was seen at mind boggling US $2.9 billion or INR 15,600 crore.

“The stock markets are down, even IPOs failed to generate adequate returns then the last option is to favour the market where growth is seen. The companies listed on Exhilway PCM are emerging one and if you are a Warren Buffett kind of a conservative yet aggressive investor these kind of markets can help you hit a gold mine,” said Parul Biswas, a research analyst with Newman Private Wealth.

Exhilway PCM helps emerging companies to raise funds, even the partnership firms to whom most of the banks and private equity investors do not lend mine can also raise millions against the guarantee provided by the Exhilway PCM itself or arranged by third party finance companies.

Exhilway PCM does not charge any money to the emerging businesses rather they charge equity stake in the company of the same value after evaluating the total value of the business. Exhilway fee falls between 3-4% of the equity stake and they keep 10% of the stake as the lifetime fee which emerging businesses feel is a well priced one. They later on the sell the stake to private equity investors or sell it to back to the company at an agreed price.

Currently four companies are listed on the exchange and the average market capitalization of the company is INR 1098 crore. If the market capitalization of the 60 soon to be listed companies stands between INR 1000-1200 crore the value of the exchange may surpass INR 7200 crore on the higher side and on the basis of asset holding.

CandyDate Jobs, StyleAdda.com, Stacy Medlin and DC Builders are currently listed on the exchange. StyleAdda.com and CandyDate Jobs constitutes nearly 80% of the exchanges’ market capitalization.

Many long term investors are found to be interested for investment in Exhilway PCM exchange rather than investing in the companies listed on it.
