eps to support Ozzy & Friends in Malmö, June 2nd
eps scandinavia: turf protection Portafloor and barrier systems for Ozzy & Friends
Black Sabbath will now play only one show in their original line-up (Donnington, UK, June 10th) while the rest of the shows will find a replacement by “Ozzy & Friends” with Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath´s bass player Geezer Butler supported by special guests like Slash, Zakk Wylde and others.
On Saturday, June 2nd Ozzy & Friends will play their outdoor show at Malmö´s “Malmö Stadium” and as many times before eps Scandinavia has been hired by Live Nation Sweden and local promoters Kulturbolaget to support this event with different infrastrutcture products.
Parts of the race track will be covered with 450 qm of Remopla to protect the area from damage by forklifts, trucks and other machinery. The pitch will be covered with 7.800 qm of Portafloor, a light but effective grass cover systems that will protect the holy football ground during the show. Set up for this system will only take about 10 hours with a crew of 18 local stagehands.
For the safety of the audience eps Scandinavia will provide 160 m of GIGS stage barriers plus special parts like corners etc. 350 m of bike racks and some 50 m of Ranger cable protectors are also part of the package. eps provides supervisor for set up and tear down and full transport logistics.
