Macro Sensors Releases LVDT Linear Position Sensor Catalog
Macro Sensor (macrosensors.com) introduces a new catalog that features LVDT Linear Position Sensors for Energy and Power Generation Applications. The catalog offers information on miniature LVDTs that provide bidirectional feedback for drilling applications, high temperature linear position sensors for oil and gas exploration applications, radiation resistant nuclear LVDTs as well as position transducers for case expansion and control valve feedback in turbines.LVDTs certified for use on General Electric gas turbines as well as GE and Westinghouse steam turbines are profiled in the catalog. Available in a variety of configurations and outputs to fit different applications, these certified LVDTs can be implemented for position measurement on governor valves, throttle valves, reheat/stop valves, interceptor valves, IGVs and many other control valves. GE and Westinghouse approved designs and OEM replacements are available from stock. The LVDTs work with existing OEM control systems and updated retrofitted controls.

Global Linear Variable Displacement Transducers (LVDT) Market 2025-2032
Linear Variable Displacement Transducers (LVDT) Market Overview
Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDT) are non-contact, absolute position sensors. They include a transformer housed into a metal case and a ferromagnetic core which can be attached to an extension rod. The core slides inside the spool tube (also called boreliner) of the transformer. The transformer contains the coil assembly with primary and secondary windings and, in the case of DC LVDTs, the signal…
Latest Trends In Global LVDT Displacement Sensors Market
A Linear Variable Differential Transformer (LVDT) displacement sensor is a highly precise and reliable device used for measuring linear displacement or position changes. It operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction and consists of a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a movable core. When an alternating current is applied to the primary coil, it generates a magnetic field, which induces voltages in the secondary coils.
