Cynthia Cevallos Joins Therapy Center for Children, LLC as Ongoing Service Coordinator
The Therapy Center for Children, LLC has announced that Cynthia Cevallos has joined the organization as an ongoing service coordinator.Ms. Cevallos has worked in many different settings with children and people of all ages and has experience as both an initial and ongoing service coordinator. Before she came to Therapy Center for Children, she worked for an Early Intervention agency in Rego Park as a service coordinator where she worked with many families and participated in developing and implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
As ongoing service coordinator for Therapy Center for Children, Ms. Cevallos will be developing and implementing IFSPs to many families in Suffolk County. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology and Sociology from Queens College with a minor in psychology and is fluent in Spanish.
“We are happy to have Cynthia join our agency,” said Christina Bellini-Zaher, MS, OTR/L, Owner/Director, Therapy Center for Children. “Her experience as both an initial and ongoing service coordinator will be a valuable asset to us. I am confident she will make sure that the children receive the necessary Early Intervention services for the children of Suffolk County and provide the needed support to the parents.”

It is composed of pediatric occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, speech therapists and special educators located in Suffolk County, New York. All of The Therapy Center for Children’s therapists are licensed and certified. The company is NYS Department of Health approved to provide preschool services and early intervention services in Suffolk County, New York. Funding for preschool services and early intervention services is through Suffolk County and the NYS Department of Health. These services are of no out-of-pocket cost to families of eligible children. The Therapy Center for Children also provides private pay sessions.
