All-in-One Multi-tester LCR-Reade-MPA in the Finals for Product of the Year from Plant Engineering

LCR-Reader-MPA digital multimeter offers an easy-to-use way to test and troubleshoot PCBs and SMT. The MPA line of tweezer multimeters from Siborg Systems Inc. offers a wide range of features and a 0.1% basic accuracy. When the gold-plated tweezer probes come in contact with a component, the MPA will automatically determine the type of component and best test parameters to use. All measurement values, including the main and secondary values on the display, are presented on the built-in display along with the type of component and test frequency used.

Some of the features on the device include a wide range of test frequencies, including 100 kHz, LCR/ESR/LED/Diode testing, AC/DC Voltage/Current measurements, oscilloscope mode, and more.

Recently, a Bluetooth enabled model was made available. This model connects to Windows and Android devices and remotely records measurement values in real time. The companion program, the LCR-MPA-BT Data Logger, allows users to set desired values and, when measuring, the program will compare the measured values with the desired values in real-time. The program will then mark the measured values as pass/fail whether they fit within the desired values.
