LCR-Reader-MPA from Siborg Systems Inc. is an all-in-one multi tester with 0.1% basic accuracy and wide range of features, including 100 kHz test frequency, oscilloscope mode, super cap testing and more. Created as a bridge between the basic LCR-Reader models and Smart Tweezers models, LCR-Reader-MPA offers the same easy-to-use design, no set-up required and tweezers as probe design. When the device is holding a component between the gold-plated tweezer tips, it will automatically determine the type of component and best test parameters to use before displaying all measurement values.

The oscilloscope mode is best used with the LCR-Reader Kelvin Probe Connector kit which includes 5 different attachments. The kit is used as a low-frequency probe station and expands the reach of the tweezers’ probes.

A new model of LCR-Reader-MPA has been released that uses a low-frequency Bluetooth connection to send and receive measurement data remotely. All measurement values are recorded into the LCR-MPA-BT Data Logger Program and can be exported to Excel file. THe main feature of the program is the one click pass/fail component assessment; users set parameters for components that must be reached while testing. If the component does not fit the parameters, the program will display red and mark the component as a fail. This feature is exceptionally helpful for time-sensitive tasks or testing a large range of components quickly.
