parking airport Berlin Brandenburg

The new Berlin Airport BER has finally opened. The airport was originally scheduled to go into operation in October 2011. But due to technical problems and lack of construction it was postponed 6 times. Due to corona restrictions, most of the flights are currently canceled. Only a few thousand passengers per day are expected at Berlin Brandenburg Airport in winter 2020. The parking spaces are also currently empty and waiting for travelers. Many private parking providers are permanently closed or have completely given up their business. Despite all the difficulties, travelers at Berlin Airport have many options to park their vehicles there quickly and cheaply. We would like to describe some of them.

There are 2 groups of parking options at Berlin Airport: the airport's own parking spaces and private parking providers. The parking lots and multi-storey car parks belonging to the airport are usually right next to Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 5 (former Berlin Schönefeld Airport). All parking spaces at the airport are managed by APCOA. Parking lots P1, P2, P3, P4, P6, P7 and P8 are available to travelers and business travelers at Terminals 1 and 2, as well as P52, P56 and parking garage P54 at Terminal 5. These parking spaces can be booked on the airport website or on the APCOA website.

All private parking providers that are available at Brandenburg Berlin Airport can be found in the parking-register: https://www.parken-flughafen-vergleich.de/parken/berlin/ Most of the parking options are cheaper compared to parking in front of the terminal and offer the shuttle service to the airport. For example: Simdorn, Mein-Parken, Dein Stellplatz, Einfach-Gut-Parken, McParking, BER-Airport-Parken and 123 Park & Fly. All parking spaces are video-monitored, fenced and well-lit. You can also, for example, park your vehicle in the Azimut City South hotel car park and take the underground to the airport yourself. A description of the parking process in the hotel car park can be found here: https://www.parken-flughafen-vergleich.de/azimut-city-south-parkhaus-flughafen-berlin/ In total, according to the parking-lot-register, there are over 20 parking spaces at BER Airport, which can offer every passenger a good service and enjoyment.
