Voices.com

Now every business and voice over artist can connect through their iPhone anywhere, anytime.

Toronto ON – May 7, 2012 – Voices.com, the online marketplace for professional voice talent, today unveiled their new iPhone app. This revolutionary app is the first of its kind and allows businesses to search, audition, hire and pay voice talent anywhere, anytime through their iPhone. The new app will also let voice talent search through a listing of paid work, record their audition and connect directly with the customer.
The new app will be available for free in the app store and allow customers all the functionality of the Voices.com website.

“With 14% of all traffic to Voices.com coming from mobile devices, this shift is mandatory to keep up with tech savvy consumers,” says Ben Jackson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Voices.com. The app allows casting directors and voice talent to carry their auditions and demos in their pockets and reflects a fundamental shift in the way voice-overs will be cast in a mobile world.

Comments on the news:

• “The industry has undergone many changes in the past few years. Just like we saw the shift in the voiceover industry moving online we are now seeing the same shift going mobile,” says David Ciccarelli, Chief Executive Officer of Voices.com. “Our goal is to make the connection between voice talent and client as easy as possible and I think the iPhone app does just that.”
• “This is a very complete app as it covers all the bases: the ability to respond to auditions, check the status of jobs, all while on the road away from the computer,” said Skip Orem, Voice Over Talent and Owner at GPOD AUDIO PRODUCTION
• “The accessibility of the marketplace is empowering a lot of new customers.” says, Stephanie Ciccarelli, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at Voices.com. “People who think a professional voice talent is too difficult to find or too expensive are now starting to realize how easy it is to hire a professional whose voice suits their brand and objectives. Booming markets such as audio publishing and interactive are what’s driving a lot of the industry’s growth.”
• This app will fundamentally change the way professional voice talent are being sourced and the way people are sourcing them.” Says, David Ciccarelli, CEO of Voices.com.
