Exponential growth helped by Lockdown and Brexit

Exponential growth helped by Lockdown and Brexit

LONDON, UK: ParcelOffice.net this week announced their millionth shipping label, hitting the milestone just as their service comes out of beta. This milestone is a major step for ParcelOffice.net on its mission to help UK SMEs intelligently manage shipping demands, regardless of volume and resources.

Speaking to John Beaven, Managing Director at ParcelOffice.net, he attributed the exponential uptake of the service to the accelerated demand on UK manufacturing during the COVID 19 UK lockdown, and ramp up of UK industry with the impending Brexit transition.

“We saw huge growth [in 2020 Q3], beating expectations - our main clientele are UK manufacturers, and clearly demand has been huge these last eight months”. He continued, “we’ve also seen an increase in output from UK manufacturing that we attribute to the perceived future demand of domestic production, as the cost of imports are set to increase post Brexit.”

“As we come out of beta, we’ll be looking to expand and monetise our user base, with a few partnerships with other platforms already on the cards.”

This news comes in the wake of many recent initiatives of the company, including:

- Transition from closed beta to open beta in May 2020
- Impending partnerships with two major e-commerce platforms
- Exponential growth of customer base over six months

Fresh Brexit threat to Irish Business
UK Conservative Party leadership candidate, Boris Johnson, in a video promoting his candidacy, declares that the UK will leave the trading bloc on October 31st, “deal or no deal”[1]. French President, Emmanuel Macron, agreed that October 31st should be the "final" deadline[2] for Britain's much-delayed withdrawal from the bloc stating that no further extensions should be offered. Following recent EU parliamentary elections, sentiment towards the UK has cooled as
Brexit and Immigration Germany - 2nd UPDATE
The people's voice in majority said "out". So be it; this is nothing but a democratic decision. It is also normal, that people cry out loud if their opinion is not followed. How will this effect Brits in Germany right now? Will they be kicked out? May they stay? I want to briefly discuss the legal consequences for immigration of the BREXIT – shortly before the "divorce" is final. What

Unreliable Brexit!
The current state of the EU-UK negotiations is merely reliable about one point: there are more open questions, than already fixed issues. Within the last weeks the so called Brexit process itself has turned into a question if the current British government may endure the withdrawal negotiations with the EU, parts of the affected industries are preparing for a hard exit scenario as a soft outcome seems rather unpredictable. While the media
U.K. Recruitment Market – The Post Brexit Scenario
Market Research Hub has added a new research report titled ‘Recruitment - UK - November 2017’. The report focuses on analyzing U.K.’s recruitment scenario. The landscape of U.K.’s recruitment market completely changed with the influence of Brexit. The immediate uncertainties in the market did not halt the hiring process of companies. Preparing for Brexit
The United Kingdom, and the EU, each face the prospect of momentous change following the EU membership referendum held in the UK in 2016. This report analyses the implications of a UK withdrawal from the EU (‘Brexit’) for both the UK and European agri-food industries, and in particular the income shock which would result from the probable scaling-down of farm subsidies in Britain.
