Brexit introduces borders

UK Conservative Party leadership candidate, Boris Johnson, in a video promoting his candidacy, declares that the UK will leave the trading bloc on October 31st, “deal or no deal”[1]. French President, Emmanuel Macron, agreed that October 31st should be the "final" deadline[2] for Britain's much-delayed withdrawal from the bloc stating that no further extensions should be offered.
Following recent EU parliamentary elections, sentiment towards the UK has cooled as new MEPs settle in to tackle more urgent challenges. Neither changes at the EU Commission or Number 10 are likely to re-open withdrawal negotiations.
Irish business must prepare for the worst, warned the Irish Data Protection Commission on February 8th. After the October delay to Brexit agreed at the April European Council[3] , “It will be unlawful for EU based data controllers to transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA” without investing in “specific safeguards”[4]. For example it will be unlawful to transfer the personal data of workers and customers from Ireland into Northern Ireland or use a UK based cloud provider to process or store personal data.
With Brexit certainties materialising, impacted Irish businesses are advised to immediately re-evaluate their data flows to avoid transferring personal data from the EU/EEA into the United Kingdom.
For Irish businesses with cross-border supply-chains, a Brexit Planning Voucher scheme operated by InterTrade Ireland, has been launched and DigiTorc is an approved supplier. With easy to access funds for qualifying businesses amounting to €2,250 or £2,500 (inclusive of VAT), expenses relating to the planning and relocation of support systems in the face of Brexit, can be quickly allayed.

Brexit and Immigration Germany - 2nd UPDATE
The people's voice in majority said "out". So be it; this is nothing but a democratic decision. It is also normal, that people cry out loud if their opinion is not followed. How will this effect Brits in Germany right now? Will they be kicked out? May they stay? I want to briefly discuss the legal consequences for immigration of the BREXIT – shortly before the "divorce" is final. What

Unreliable Brexit!
The current state of the EU-UK negotiations is merely reliable about one point: there are more open questions, than already fixed issues. Within the last weeks the so called Brexit process itself has turned into a question if the current British government may endure the withdrawal negotiations with the EU, parts of the affected industries are preparing for a hard exit scenario as a soft outcome seems rather unpredictable. While the media
U.K. Recruitment Market – The Post Brexit Scenario
Market Research Hub has added a new research report titled ‘Recruitment - UK - November 2017’. The report focuses on analyzing U.K.’s recruitment scenario. The landscape of U.K.’s recruitment market completely changed with the influence of Brexit. The immediate uncertainties in the market did not halt the hiring process of companies. Yet there is a rise in concerns over shortage of skills in companies, and also a reduction in the
Preparing for Brexit
The United Kingdom, and the EU, each face the prospect of momentous change following the EU membership referendum held in the UK in 2016. This report analyses the implications of a UK withdrawal from the EU (‘Brexit’) for both the UK and European agri-food industries, and in particular the income shock which would result from the probable scaling-down of farm subsidies in Britain. Brexit – what next?
Commentators have been shocked by the depth of divisions revealed by the UK’s decision to leave the European Union. North and south, young and old, it seems have revealed starkly differing views on the country’s place in the world and the best means of positioning itself in a rapidly changing economic order. We asked the partners and staff at Russell Bedford member firms Cooney Carey, Dublin, and Lubbock Fine, London,
