TRMA Recognizes F.E. Moran Special Hazard Systems for Superior Safety Rating
Northbrook, IL -- On March 29, 2012, F.E. Moran Special Hazard Systems was recognized with a safety award for 0 injuries in 2011 by Three River’s manufacturers’ Association (TRMA). Since 1933, TRMA has been promoting safety through training. In 1993, TRMA established their Safety Center to provide safety courses to contractors and industry personnel. Since inception, injury rates have been reduced by 83%. For 2011, TRMA received an OSHA incidence rate of .5 overall, compared to OSHA averages of 4.4 for manufacturing, 2.5 for chemical manufacturing, 4.3 for specialty trades, and .9 for U.S. petroleum refineries. Every year, TRMA recognizes the contractors that have helped them establish their admirable OSHA rating. F.E. Moran Special Hazard Systems was among those awarded for their superior safety record for the second year in a row.

AkzoNobel was established in 1994, and since then, has grown to be an international industrial manufacturer with 450 locations in the United States alone. Additionally, Job Safety Analysis’s (JSA) are written for every task conducted, adhering to the highest safety standards.
