After establishing string of successful ventures in the Middle East region Dubai based entrepreneur Mr. Ajay Singh Chauhan, the founder and CEO of award winning IT training and certification company, Spectrum Training, and also leading IT security distribution house in the region, ComGuard have taken a giant leap by consolidating all his companies under one single umbrella company called, Spectrum Group.

With Spectrum Training well established as the key player in the region, the company then ventured into IT consultancy, value added distribution within the region and also expanded its businesses beyond the Middle East region to India.

“We started our journey way back in 2004 with a vision to establish a group of companies which can deliver value to its customers, hence we maintained our focus on developing a business model which was based on technical skill-sets that were at par with global standards” said, Mr. Ajay Singh Chauhan, Group CEO, Spectrum Group. “From just one centre for training, it is now one of most respectable names in the IT training and certification across the Middle East region and that also gave us platform to venture into new high growth areas in tandem with our vision.”

After expanding its operations both in the region and in India, Spectrum Group today consists of Spectrum FZ, Spectrum Training, ComGuard Value added Distribution, ComGuard Value Business, Comguard Wireless, Psilog International, ComGuard Networks India and Spectrum Networks India.

The group has consolidated and streamlined all its operations to maximise the productivity and enhance savings. The group is already experiencing benefits of merging its back office operations like Finance, Marketing, Communications, Administration, HR, IT under the group umbrella. Despite the amalgamation of functions, all the individual companies continue to work seamlessly as independent organisations with separate heads leading the companies.

The group activities are presided over by a Board of Directors which consists of Mr. Ajay Singh Chauhan, heading Spectrum Group as the group CEO, Mr. Malcolm Noronha, the group COO, Mr. Mohammad Mobasseri, the group CMCO and Sr. Vice President of Comguard VAD, Mr. Jayadevan K, Sr. Vice President of Comguard Value Business, Mr. Sanjeev Singh, the managing director of Spectrum Training, Mrs. Rekha Singh Chauhan, the group Sr. Vice President-HR and Administration

Mr. Chauhan added, that, “As a group today, we are in better position to approach newer ventures in much more structured way and the group is keen to invest in business, that are complementary to exciting businesses.”

Spectrum Group has created its own identity with a new logo for the group and has also set up a new comprehensive website to disseminate information about the group.
