Dramm Makes a Big Splash with New Products for 2008

May 16, 2007 – Dramm Corporation recently attended the National Hardware Show in Orlando, Florida and announced three new products: Dramm’s ColorStorm™ Premium Rubber Hose, 5-Liter Water Can, now made in the U.S.A, and Pruning Shears.

At the National Hardware Show, Dramm’s booth was buzzing. The biggest talk was about the new ColorStorm™ Premium Rubber Hose in Dramm’s signature rainbow colors. Ron Greening says, “The color is the first thing you will notice but the last thing we consider with our products.” Dramm has been making professional watering tools for nurseries, greenhouse growers and avid gardeners for over 60 years. Dramm takes pride in providing quality and durable products that will last a lifetime and the new hose is no exception. The ColorStorm Premium Rubber Hose has sure-grip technology with durable and abrasion resistant cover. ColorStorm Premium Rubber Hose is resistant to hot water up to 160º F, coils easily with minimum tangles, is crush-proof and yes it comes in six intensifying colors.

There was also much excitement about Dramm’s new redesigned 5-Liter Water Can, which will now be made in the U.S.A. For 2008, Dramm’s 5-Liter Watering Cans will be manufactured in Two-Rivers, which is only about fifteen minutes from Dramm’s facility in Manitowoc, WI. “We are excited to be able to bring production of the 5-Liter Water Can to the U.S.A,” says Howard Zimmerman. “Our customers are delighted to be able to sell this premium watering can in the six attractive colors to match our hoses and watering tools.” The 5-Liter Watering Can has injected molded plastic to form a superior design and comes in six bright colors.

Dramm has also introduced Gardening Scissors. This scissor is perfect for cutting and garden clean up. This tool has a stainless steel blade, ergonomically designed and comes in six brilliant colors.

Dramm’s booth at the National Hardware Show was a huge success. You can look for Dramm’s new products in independent greenhouses nationwide beginning in 2008.
