European Project ProInterNet promotes the e-Jobs Observatory
The e-Jobs Observatory, a central point of reference for all activities related to research, training, qualifications, standards, norms, certificates and employment in the field of e-Jobs in EuropeMarch 12th, 2012. Euproma is coordinating partner of the ProInterNet consortium. In the framework of the ProInterNet project, Euproma, has been working together with 9 European organizations to improve the quality of Vocational Education & Training (VET) in the field of e-Jobs and make vocational education and training more transparent and comparable at European level so that the employability of job seekers will be promoted and the e-skills shortage on the EU labour market will be reduced.
After two years of work, the ProInterNet consortium has created the e-Jobs Observatory platform, the only web 2.0 platform at European level that gathers specialized information of importance for companies of the internet industry and for training institutions interested to improve their qualification offer in compliance with the market needs of the internet field.
The e-Jobs Observatory has been recently redesigned and presents a new image. Among the most important features is the section for training institutions, which includes interesting documentation such as training guidelines as a supportive tools for the development of market needs compliant training in the field of e-jobs, and information on the key outcome of the ProInterNet initiative, which is the quality label for training organisations and the certification process for training modules that comply with the ProInterNet training guidelines.
The e-Jobs Observatory will grant the e-Jobs Label of Excellence to organizations that support the ProInterNet initiative and want to be part of the e-jobs-observatory network targeted at improving training quality and employability of professionals in e-jobs. Your organisation can apply for the label by signing a letter of compliance with the ProInterNet principles, which is available on the e-jobs-observatory platform. The e-Jobs Seal of Market Compliance will be granted to those training institutions that intend to improve their training offer and comply with the market needs of the industry.
Another section of the website addresses companies of the internet industry that can find e-job profiles based on market needs, information on current e-jobs initiatives in different European countries, information on national roundtables with stakeholders in the field, and other interesting information about e-jobs.
Roundtable meetings with stakeholders in the field of e-jobs will be held during April and May in different countries to promote the e-Jobs Label of Excellence and Seal of Market Compliance. Further information on these events will be available soon on the e-Jobs Observatory.

Both are able to look back on many years of experience in the conception, planning and implementation of funded projects. Benno Kotterba's expertise is mainly concentrated in the fields of developping and implementing nationally funded innovation projects in industrial research and development. Adriana Bär, however is skilled and experienced in the realisation of European projects, mainly in the areas of educational, cultural and social topics.
