Jenkintown, PA (March 7, 2012) — Managing Editor Inc. (MEI) today announced that Stephen Arbour, the company’s vice president of technical services, will be presenting at XTech 2012 on Friday, March 16. The educational seminar, hosted by IDEAlliance, will be held at the Embassy Suites O’Hare in Rosemont, Ill., and can also be attended virtually via real-time webcast.

Arbour’s presentation, “Leveraging XML to Enable Cross-Media Publishing,” is part of the XML Case Studies portion of the event’s XML Solutions Track. Arbour will discuss strategies for leveraging XML as a key component of cross-media publishing, focusing on automating print-to-Web, print-to-tablet and XML-to-print-and-tablet workflows. He will also highlight real-life examples from MEI’s custom XML development for a variety of clients.

Arbour has more than 15 years’ experience in software product leadership and development, product management, quality assurance and customer service in the publishing, telecommunications, petrochemical and financial industries.
