INTERNATIONAL CROP SCIENCE BILATERAL TRADE MEET 2012

The leading association of pesticides formulators in India, PMFAI, has recently confirmed that it is organizing the International Crop Science Bilateral Trade Meet in Dubai, UAE on 21st-22nd May, 2012.
The aim of this meet is to promote bilateral trade relations with Middle-east agriculture hub, which have around 1.5 billion USD in agricultural GDP, as well as a liberal tax structure. Along with pesticides, the conference has emphasized discussion on Bio-pesticides, PGR, PGP, & Micronutrients.
The co-organizer, Indo-Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industries is glad to have the participation of delegates from India, China and other countries of the world for a discussion on emerging markets, import-export regulations in the countries and joint R&D in agriculture domain.
The international trade meet is supported by the Indian Ministry of Chemical Fertilizers, Chemexcil, FICCI and many more.
In the above event, more than 60 Agrochemical manufacturing companies from India and China will be participating. The delegates from all the companies will get a unique forum to learn the current market trends from renowned authorities.
The guest speakers include Dr. Ahmad Mahdavi, from University of Tehran, Iran, Dr. Mohannad Al Majathoub, from Agri Sciences Ltd, Dr. Venkatesh Devanur of Agrilife Limited, Dr. D. D. Faye, a renowned Entomologist/Agronomist, Dr. Kandil who is a Professor of pesticides and toxicology in Cairo University, Egypt and Mr. Dilip Gokhale, who is a Consultant to AGRA and the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture.

PESTICIDES FORMULATORS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA (PFAI) was established in 1967 with the aim of providing an interactive platform for Pesticides Formulators so as to ensure high quality grain production to suffice for growing population in Indian sub-continent.
It was renamed in 1997 as Pesticides Manufactures & Formulators Association of India (PMFAI). The Association now represents over 250 members including small and large scale manufacturers on a national basis.
