SOUTH FAYETTE TOWNSHIP, PA (August 4, 2020) – Junior Achievement of Western PA (JA) is selling tickets for the chance to win one of two prizes:

• Two season tickets for the 2020-2021 season

o Penn State Football (+ Parking Pass)
o Pitt Football and Men’s Basketball
o Duquesne Men's and Women's Basketball

For a decade, Junior Achievement has been providing Pittsburgh sports fans with the ultimate prize package. Now, due to the effects of COVID-19, JA understands the 2020-2021 sports season will look different and has added a $10,000 prize option to the already ongoing raffle.

“We hope this new alternate prize will kick up additional excitement around the raffle”, says Junior Achievement President & CEO Dennis Gilfoyle. “The funds raised through this raffle go directly to support the future of our young people and if our children even needed to hear a positive message about their future, it’s now!”, shared Gilfoyle.

The winner of the raffle will be announced on August 27th and is based on the PA Lottery Big Four evening drawing. $20 per raffle ticket. Winner need not be present to win.

Each summer proceeds from the Pittsburgh’s Golden Ticket Raffle help Junior Achievement provide educational programming, both virtually and in-school, to students in grades k-12. These programs enable students to be financially responsible, workforce ready, and entrepreneurially minded.

In the event the Big Four number does not correspond to a purchased ticket, a winner will be drawn randomly on-site at Junior Achievement’s offices. The lucky winner will be announced live on Junior Achievement of Western PA’s Facebook page at JAWPA.
