WISMED – WASME Institute of SME Management and Enterprise Development to be inaugurated

World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME), an international level MSME Association, head-quartered in India, would start a SME Management and Enterprise Development institute. The institute its acronym, WISMED, is a long standing demand of its members from across the world, who are based in different Afro-Asian- Latin American and other emerging economies in other continents including Europe, says Mr. Gyan Prakash Agarwal, Secretary General of WASME.
The institute would be inaugurated by Prof. Dr. SK Kak, Vice Chancellor of Maha Maya Technical University, Noida. Inaugural function would be attended by delegates from MENA region and South Korea, apart from top functionaries of educational institutes in Noida on 23 February 2012, 3. PM.
The institute would be located at Noida, Sector, 16 A, Film City Noida. WISMED would offer a number of short-duration, intensive training programmes for SME managers, CEOs and probable entrepreneurs. These courses are designed to enhance the productivity, efficiency and introduce new management concepts & best practices to SME managers from different countries, where WASME has presence. Participants would be provided with certificate of participation.

WASME, World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises, works for the promotion of micro, small and medium sized enterprises. It is always on the lookout for avenues for enterprises and entrepreneurs so as to enable people participate in the market process. It is the only international NGO promoting small and medium-sized enterprises worldwide. It has Members and Associates worldwide and enjoys consultative status with the concerned agencies in UN system such as Economic and Social Council, UNIDO, UNCTAD, WIPO, ILO and all regional UN Commissions. It also has operational relationship with UNESCO.
