Once Photos
Once Photos is an original and creative photo sharing app. It strives to bring authenticity back to photo sharing by choosing a photo from your phone library by chance and allowing you to share and challenge others to share their Once Photos.
The Authentik, Inc. founder, Ali Ayremlou, explained that the idea for the app was born after the current pandemic began, to serve two main goals. One, to rediscover and relive moments before the pandemic and secondly, to raise a donation fund to fight against COVID-19 and future pandemics.
Once Photos is an offline app with no servers to ensure the security of its users. There is no saving or uploading of any of your photos. The app allows you to choose your photos by a yearly range, which is a nice feature, if you are looking to relive some moments of a specific year. It also does not require any sign in or passwords in order to use the app.
The app allows you to rediscover photos without scrolling, be surprised by what your chance photo is, play a chance game against your own photos, share your randomly chosen photos with no judgement since you did not choose the photo and to challenge your friends to share theirs.
