AmpliVox Launches “Podiums for Prostate Health” Donation Program

Don Roth, CEO of AmpliVox Sound Systems, introduces the new “Podiums for Prostate Health” donation program.
According to the American Cancer Society, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer for men, with over 240,000 new cases identified in the US each year. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in males, killing one in 36 men. However, treatments are highly effective if the cancer is detected early, so education and testing are vital components to improving survival rates.
AmpliVox CEO Don Roth, himself a prostate cancer survivor, sees his new donation program as a natural match of product and purpose. “AmpliVox products are designed to make people’s voices be heard, and the message of cancer organizations can be truly life-saving,” said Roth. “These groups do a great job of raising awareness, and we want to be on the front lines supporting them.”
The AmpliVox Pinnacle lecterns are made of rugged hard-shell plastic that is waterproof and weatherproof, in keeping with the unpredictable conditions of outdoor events and races. They can be easily moved, thanks to their heavy-duty casters, built-in handles and minimal weight. AmpliVox delivers each lectern at no cost before an organization’s event, and the group can then keep its podium for future use.
