AmpliVox Launches “Podiums for Prostate Health” Donation Program

In support of prostate cancer research and education, AmpliVox® Sound Systems today announced a new cause marketing donation program that will assist prostate cancer organizations nationwide. AmpliVox will fabricate its signature Pinnacle lectern in the official blue color of the prostate cancer awareness movement and provide a lectern free of charge to any organization for use in fundraisers, meetings, or educational events. This new campaign, “Podiums for Prostate Health,” follows in the footsteps of AmpliVox’s Pink Podium Promise program, which has placed pink lecterns with over 200 breast cancer advocacy groups since its inception in 2010.

According to the American Cancer Society, prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer for men, with over 240,000 new cases identified in the US each year. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in males, killing one in 36 men. However, treatments are highly effective if the cancer is detected early, so education and testing are vital components to improving survival rates.
