Dallas (January 25, 2012) – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to congratulate Partner Scott P. Stolley on being appointed to the Board of Directors of The Arts Community Alliance (TACA).

Stolley is a Partner and leader of Thompson & Knight’s Appellate and Supreme Court Practice Group in Dallas. He focuses his practice on the representation of appellants and appellees in state and federal appellate courts, including evaluation of appeals, drafting briefs, and arguing to appellate courts.

Stolley participates in several local organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas, where he was named a member of the Board of Directors in Fall 2011, and the Corinthian Sailing Club. He was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Arts District Alliance. Stolley actively is involved in numerous professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar. He is also listed in the 2012 edition of Benchmark Appellate, the definitive guide to America’s leading appellate firms and attorneys, as well as The Best Lawyers in America® and Texas Super Lawyers® in Appellate Law.
