Birmingham, 5 December 2011- Vitis PR, a Birmingham PR agency has been recognised by the UK's leading PR body, the CIPR, for its achievements over the last three years.
Claiming a Silver award in the category for Outstanding Small PR Consultancy, Vitis PR won its award in a fiercely contested category with six finalists.
Gayle Brandon-Kirby, Event Manager, CIPR commented on the judge's decision to award Vitis PR: "Vitis is a successful specialist technology PR agency with a clear mission and well defined series of business objectives that have all been met or exceeded. Their sample campaign for an online mobile accessories retailer was effective achieving impressive results. It is the real focus and specialism of this consultancy that gives it the edge."
There were in excess of 1,000 entries to this year's Pride Awards, which is the only awards scheme that showcases the best PR work being carried out across the UK.
The judging process is rigorous with a national panel of industry experts assessing the shortlisted entries and choosing the winners.
