Press release from: Vitis PR

/ PR Agency: Vitis PR
Technology specialist public relations agency, Vitis PR, has been recognised as an Outstanding Small Consultancy finalist in this year’s CIPR PRide Awards
Vitis PR, a technology and B2B public relations agency, based in Birmingham, is celebrating after being announced a finalist in the Outstanding Small Consultancy category of the Midlands’ CIPR PRide Awards 2011, being held on 2nd December in Birmingham.
All Outstanding Small Consultancy finalists must have less than five full-time members of staff. Technology public relations agency Vitis PR, which has a core team of three senior level executives working on all client accounts, was shortlisted for its public relations success and achievement within the technology, telecoms and high growth company sectors.
Commenting on the PRide shortlist, Jane Wilson CIPR CEO said: “The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the best PR and campaigns from the profession across the UK. To be shortlisted for an award demonstrates exemplary achievement, impact and value - immediately putting their work in the spotlight. Congratulations to everyone for reaching this stage.”
Leading PR experts selected Vitis PR as one of only six Midlands’ finalists from over 1,000 regional submissions. Vitis PR will now attend the 2011 CIPR PRide Awards, where the winners will be announced at an evening awards ceremony at Birmingham’s Hilton Metropole on Saturday 2nd December.
Ranbir Sahota, Founder and Director of Vitis PR, said: “Our hard work and dedication to each of our clients has been proven by our shortlisting for this award and we couldn’t be happier. Not only do we provide PR excellence via senior consultants who each have a minimum of seven years’ experience in PR, in-house communications and journalism, but, as a virtual agency, our business model minimises overheads so we can provide clients with a cost-effective yet high-impact service.
“We have grown since 2006 to support national and international organisations, beating larger London-based agencies to win high-value new business. Originally set up to manage general technology and telecoms accounts, we have recently stepped into other sectors, including clean tech, technology retail and legal technology, thanks to a range of new client wins. Winning this award would not only give us the recognition we deserve as an ever-expanding, innovative small PR agency but would also confirm our position as one of the best agencies the Midlands has to offer.”
Vitis PR is no stranger to winning CIPR awards, having picked up gold in the same category at 2007’s PRide Awards and achieving silver for its work with the West Midlands’ ICT Cluster in 2009.
