Their 2007 pearl white STI project car was featured in both the October 2007 issue of Top Performance from Dubai and the December 2007 issue of Performance Auto and Sound. It attracted the automotive car world with its Agency Power rear and front 22 mm adjustable sway bars, rear adjustable control arms, and Agency Power spec. JC coil-overs.
The WRX II project car with its bright red body with carbon accessories, the large 19×8 wheels, and the wide Chargespeed fenders brought the car to Import Racer as a feature and to Modified Magazine as its cover. With the complete Bride Interior, huge HKS GT2540R turbo kit, and a large front mount from Perrin Performance, the WRX II was filled with some of the best high performance products.
Other over the top project cars have included the Dodge Viper SRT-10, the BMW M5, and the Mazda RX8 Pepsi Sweeps car.
Vivid Racing (vividracing.com) recently came across this STI for sale by Cosworth, one of the leading manufacturers of aftermarket engine performance parts for the Subaru STI and Mitsubishi EVO. Cosworth has their products in many different marquees across the globe. With everything from pistons, rods, and complete short blocks, Cosworth is the go-to answer for making more horsepower. VR will be changing a part or two, as well as adding on Cosworth's new EFR turbo kit. It will be sure to stand out in the automotive project car arena.
