About the Exhibition:
Celebrate the holiday season by bringing the warmth and energy of the Mediterranean to your day through art that will stay with you for a lifetime. This winter, Agora Gallery is proud to present two exhibitions that will brighten your weeks and leave you full of optimism and wonder. Born of Fire: Carlo Proietto / a Solo Exhibition presents the work of a talented Italian artist whose medium of choice is classical pyrography. He uses fire and intense heat to create his intriguing artworks in a way that shows why this unusual medium deserves to become part of the contemporary art world. Evocative, powerful and bursting with vitality, the works combine a realistic perspective on the present with determined hope for the future. Equally inspirational is the art of The Odyssey Within: an Exhibition of Fine Art by Greek and Italian Artists, which embraces the rich potential of the world and encourages its audience to share the same enthusiasm for the hidden aspects of what we see. Poignantly personal yet appealing universal, these works will find echoes in viewers’ own experiences and journeys.

In her ethereal and finely detailed style of portraiture, Tina Wendon develops an expressive realism of air and mood, bringing to light a faithful interpretation and a sense not just of the subjects’ physical characteristics but of their innermost life and emotions. As she creates her works in oil paint on canvas or linen with occasional elements of mixed media, Wendon creates an illusion of reality, applying thin layers of

Therese Obergottsberger: Elements of Nature at Agora Gallery
Her soul stirred by the sparkling wonder of wildlife, American artist Therese Obergottsberger translates her emotive responses to nature into illuminated, invigorating paintings. Italian Sculptor, Alessio Ranaldi Explores the Dynamics of Shape and Color at Ag …
Sculptures by Italian artist Alessio Ranaldi explore the dynamic cohesion of opposites through a staggering variety of forms. Pairing unlikely shapes and vivid, contrasting colors, he presents a type of ying and yang, offering audiences a meditative, thoughtful stillness. The sculptures almost beg to be touched, the solid forms appearing delicate and ethereal. Resin is completely solid, yet Ranaldi achieves an incredible fluidity with the material that seems incongruous and
