Kögel Combi impresses removals and furniture delivery companies

Dachser & Kolb has completely replaced its fleet and has thus chosen the Kögel Combi. The versatile swap talent from the Swabian trailer producer plays a supporting role in the strategic growth strategy of the removals and furniture delivery company with its headquarters in Kempten/Allgäu.

With the Kögel Combi, Dachser & Kolb has chosen an intelligent commercial vehicle solution. Thanks to its swappable and folding standard stop, the chassis is the optimum solution for transporting swap containers of all types. Having a tare weight starting at 2.7 tons and a lightweight yet sturdy frame construction, the Combi is particularly suited for the heavy payloads which we encounter every day in the removals industry. The optimum axle geometry guarantees excellent handling and tracking when running empty. For better handling in day-to-day operation, the swap mountings can be lifted and lowered using operating levers at the sides and an adequate supply of air, without the need for a tractor unit. Plug-mounting guide rollers also help to move under the swap containers precisely.

"Kögel is a reliable partner of ours of the first order and will accompany us in the ongoing extension of our service provision offer“, said Johannes Neumann, Managing Director at Dachser & Kolb. "The Kögel Combi fulfils our highest demands with regard to deployment flexibility and operator-friendliness.“

"We are very pleased, of course, that Dachser & Kolb has refreshed its fleet with our Kögel Combi“, said Lars Kirchner, Sales Manager Germany at Kögel. "With its long service life, even under heavy duty conditions in the removals sector, it sets new standards of economy.“

Kögel, a brand with a tradition going back more than 75 years, and which has achieved first place throughout Europe, is once again at the centre of things with their unmistakable experience and competence. With the takeover of Kögel in 2009, Ulrich Humbaur assumed an active entrepreneurial role which gave the brand the stability and continuity it deserves. This is further consolidated by the very sturdy equity ratio that Ulrich Humbaur has made available to his companies. Kögel has reinvented itself – by returning to the strengths which formerly made the company great: A passion for transport. Engineering quality. This is the innovation which these names deserve because they bring relevant customer value. And the reliability of an owner-managed family company with long-term prospects. In addition to products for the forwarding industry we now have versions for the construction industry, a field which is not entirely new for Kögel.
