To remind the general population on importance of travel and tourism, not only as globe's major economic activity and source of employment, but also as a means to achieve cultural understanding and as a significant contributor towards the goals of alleviating poverty and improving livelihoods, 27th September every year is celebrated as World Tourism Day, a special day set by United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

His 29+ years industry experience include in the Corporate Sector in Senior & Top Management positions with organizations in Insurance, Financial Services, Mutual Funds, Pharma, Media, Software & Skill Development Sector. He possesses rich experience of handling large teams in National, Zonal & Regional Head roles. Subhashish took up to travel blog writing in June 2018 and is heading for Silver Jubilee in 2020.
