Every region of the world is distinct and thus has something both to offer and gain through travel. To remind the general population on importance of travel and tourism, not only as globe's major economic activity and source of employment, but also as a means to achieve cultural understanding and as a significant contributor towards the goals of alleviating poverty and improving livelihoods, 27th September every year is celebrated as World Tourism Day, a special day set by United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

It goes without saying that the world indeed is a book and those who do not travel can claim to have read only a page from that book. It is known that jobs fill one's wallet but travel and adventure fills the soul. It is not an exaggeration when it is said that traveling leaves the person speechless and then turns the person into a storyteller. But with Corona virus COVID-19 Lockdown the challenge before everyone is how to travel.

Enter the travelwisesr by Proud to be BITSian Subhashish Roy popularly known as Bachcha, a proud alumnus of institution of eminence in India today Birla Institute of Technology and Science - BITS Pilani. He did his double Masters MSc(Hons) and MMS during 1977 - 1983. Babumoshai Subhashish truly takes his inspiration from the immortal Anand film dialogue by Super Star Rajesh Khanna "Zindagi badi honi chahiye lambi nahi" meaning life need not be long but it should be big. For Subhashish travel is indeed a mission with passion.

His 29+ years industry experience include in the Corporate Sector in Senior & Top Management positions with organizations in Insurance, Financial Services, Mutual Funds, Pharma, Media, Software & Skill Development Sector. He possesses rich experience of handling large teams in National, Zonal & Regional Head roles. Subhashish took up to travel blog writing in June 2018 and is heading for Silver Jubilee in 2020.

BITSians know about Pilani but when they read it in travelwisesr there is a big grin on their faces. Dean Nattu was planning Gaya pilgrimage for performing rituals for his parents this summer but in lockdown Gaya was 'Gaya' and he got his soul filling by reading Land of Buddha in travelwisesr. Several faculty members from NACC A++ Banasthali which is also second best women's university in the world as per Times Higher Education "THE" global rankings had planned grand holidays 2020 summer.

Sandeep Patel from small town Sihora near Jabalpur had planned a holiday this summer with his wife Mona and son Vedant at Goa in a villa but he is now enjoying his lockdown holiday by reading travelwisesr Goa Villa Stay with Silver Salt. Depak Kumar from Meerut with his wife Suman and son Laddu wanted to visit Kausani in Uttarakhand and shoot countless selfies during summer but he is happy now reading travelwisesr blog on Kausani. Subhashish is much more than a travel blogger. He is a performance facilitator, public speaker and leadership coach. He has conducted countless Workshops which include Emotional Intelligence, Interpersonal Skills, Selling Skills, Team Building, Time Management, Customer Service, Attitude and Communication for Impact. He has coached over 2500 employees of GMR Group, India Medtronic, Grameen Group Bangladesh, Central Bank of India, HDFC Bank, Mahindra Financial Services, Cholamandalam, National Insurance Company, L&T, Medley Pharmaceuticals and Mother Dairy.

He is a Certified Master Trainer for Telecom, Retail & Agriculture Sector Skill Councils and has conducted over 100 Goal Oriented Motivational Sessions for Amway Leadership Network all across India. It goes without saying that he is equally fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali. His Travelwisesr has the option of choosing language for reading his blog. Undoubtedly a dreamer, performer and achiever, he is equally passionate about writing & music.
