Press release from: Forte Public Relations

The Stayton at Museum Way, Tarrant County’s first and only full service life care senior living community, recently hosted a special event to honor those veteran residents who gave their time and risked their lives so many years ago. Residents and guests gathered in The Stayton’s 11th floor Sky Lounge for happy hour, patriotic hors d’ oeuvres and good company. The event concluded with a speech by Justin Spooner, executive director for The Stayton, as he recognized each veteran resident and staff member for their service to our country with a special commemorative certificate.

“The Veterans Day event proved to be a very special day,” said Amy Pearce, lifestyles coordinator for The Stayton. “Everyone came out in their red, white and blue and it seemed all that attended had a great time. It was humbling to see the residents sharing their individual war time stories with each other.”
