Kögel is back on site. With its new 3-axle tipper semi-trailer, Kögel is impressively continuing its decades of tradition as a manufacturer of construction vehicles. The completely newly developed tipper represents a whole new dimension and is characterised by numerous innovative properties for use in daily practice. The Kögel flagship will be making its exhibition world premiere at the Solutrans trade fair in Lyon.

Versatile in operation due to modular concept
Another highlight is the modular concept of the Kögel tipper semi-trailer. Due to its intelligent screwed / bolted / glued joining technology, the replacement of the tipper body components is easy, cost-effective and fast. An absolute novelty, which offers the customers an ideal vehicle combination. The change of the transport from sand or gravel to coarse bulk material or excavated material is quickly possible thanks to the combination possibility. The intelligent joining technology of tipper body and side wall gives the tipper additional stability. The modularity of the tipper semi-trailer enables easy replacement of the side wall and side wall reinforcement without the necessity of wear plates.

Top-quality corrosion protection of chassis and tipper body by cathodic dip-paint coating with Nano ceramic
All Kögel tipper semi-trailers have cathodic dip-paint coating for chassis and tipper body, are surface-treated with Nano Ceramic Technology and subsequently painted. This high-quality corrosion protection ensures a long service life. For the first time the construction industry has a fully cathodic dip-paint coated tipper from line production. The modern corrosion protection is more environmentally compatible and offers a better energy balance than conventional surface coatings.

Low tare weight
Modern lightweight construction and production methods ensure a low tare weight of less than 6,000 kg in the standard model with a high degree of load capacity. "Low tare weight means high payload“ is the motto.

Other highlights
The movable underride guard guarantees easy changing from road driving position to use as a road finisher, for which purpose it can be inserted. The handling of the robust underride guard is simple.
The tipping bearings are of low maintenance and repair-friendly design. The brass and plastic bearing bush ensures that the tipper can be in use almost always, as its maintenance intervals are extremely long.
