Press release from: Forte Public Relations

Edgemere senior living community recently hosted a day filled with events to honor those veteran residents who gave their time and risked their lives so many years ago. The festivities began mid-afternoon when Edgemere residents and guests were entertained with the patriotic music of the Perennial Brass Quintet, who played all of the war time favorites from the era. After the program, an intimate ceremony was held to recognize the new members that were added to the Veteran’s Eternal Plaque.

“Veterans Day is always a special time of year here at Edgemere,” said Lorraine Kendrick, lifestyles director for Edgemere. “We have so many wonderful and amazing veterans that call Edgemere home, and each year it is inspiring to hear their stories.”
