In a Philanthropic Initiative Sphinx Worldbiz and TimeTooth Collaborate to Build Low-cost Ventilators for COVID-19 Through Crowdfunding

The collaboration develops low-cost emergency mechanical ventilators for COVID-19 under India's Open Source Effort. TimeTooth Technologies makes an appeal for crowdfunding for the project.

Sphinx Worldbiz Limited will be providing its prototyping services free of charge. It is a non-profit initiative and all the contributions will go directly and solely for the development of the prototype and the design of the mechanical ventilator, taking authorities' approval, and reaching out to the manufacturers.

Noida, India- April 13, 2020- Sphinx Worldbiz and TimeTooth Technologies stand together to help the world in fighting the deadly COVID19. The collaborative aim is to develop low-cost mechanical ventilators for the global healthcare sector to equip enough beds for the forecasted number of COVID19 patients all over the world.

Sphinx Worldbiz contributes by providing its prototyping knowledge and experience of engineering and IT towards the manufacturing of the ventilator prototype for authentication of state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Aiming to pull all stops to fight against the fatal Coronavirus disease, TimeTooth Technologies also calls for fundraiser support for the project. This is a voluntary effort to facilitate medical necessity charging nothing for profit and only helping save lives. Both Sphinx Worldbiz and TimeTooth consider this its social responsibility.

The ventilator design will be a localized, openly shared project for low-cost Mechanical Ventilator for the COVID-19 patients of India and overseas. Presently, full-featured ICU ventilators are quite expensive and short in number, thus deriving the requirement of more fully functional low-cost mechanical ventilators for the existing and potential patients.

The demand for a huge number of the low-cost ventilator is imminent hence; TimeTooth Technologies has raised a fundraiser call for financial support to make this life-saving project a timely success. All the donated funds will be solely utilized for the designing, design release, QA, testing, product certification, and supplies transportation to the international markets.
The low-cost ventilators will be based on open-source designs issued by academic and business organizations across the world.

The ventilator will be equipped with features like automated physician assistance, low cost (charging only 10-15% of a traditional ICU ventilator), medical-grade, durable and reliable design suitable for field usage. The ventilator can be used easily in remote villages and simple hospitals.
