The primary USP of the app is that it connects you with a doctor anywhere across India 24x7x365. It allows you to personally speak to the doctors, consult them over phone and get a prescription over the app. The prescription is authenticated mentioning doctor's registration number and digital signature.

The app with Built in data privacy and security offers public to call from anywhere, anytime to connect with Big City Doctors covering Multi Specialty Categories like General Physician, Child Specialist, Gynecologist, Dermatologist, Diabetologist, Oncologist, Cardiologist, Dietician, Emotional Wellbeing, Homeopathy etc within 4 minutes and receive Medical advice. The panel consists of private practicing as well as doctors attached to hospitals (big & small) across various cities. Each of the doctors are qualified and registered with the Medical Council of India.

According to Aloke Malik, everyone considers doctors availability as round the clock and hence the app got name Doctor 24x7. Aloke has 3 decades of experience in various leadership roles across ITC, Pepsico, Aditya Birla Group (Madura Garment & Idea Cellular) and ESPN. Driven by healthcare as a mission with passion, Aloke who wanted to give it back to society and deliver a positive social impact was on lookout for a techie preferably half his age to carry forward it.

Vikrant Yadav after his schooling from 1901 established Birla School Pilani, did his MSc (Hons) Economics from institution of Eminence Birla Institute of Technology and Science - BITS Pilani during 2003-2007 and followed it up at BITS with a Masters in Software Systems. Vikrant in initial years had founded Hello a phone book app and also cofounded Delhi Startup community.
