Colomb Art, to open flagship fine art gallery in central London location
Original fine art for your home from Colomb Art
The proposed date of arrival is planned for early June 2007 and is expected to exhibit a similar mixture of original paintings and limited edition prints previously seen on www.colombart.co.uk
Art to be featured includes original work from established traditional artists: Edward Hersey, Ken Hammond, Gordon Lees, Wendy Reeves and a selection of contemporary artists: John Haskins, Gordon Barker, Sue Howells and Stewart Wilson.
Philip Short, Head of Sales said,
“The step of going “physical” and putting Colomb Art within the London art scene is the next logical step from exhibiting British fine art online. Everyday clients would tell me that the website is excellent but to be able to see and feel all the paintings under one roof in the heart of the capital would be incredible.”
By utilizing the established links with national commercial art galleries and suppliers, Colomb Art aims to accumulate all exhibited art works within a single space, easily accessible for customers who wish to browse and buy fine art.
It is expected that the current website www.colombart.co.uk will continue as a leading online art gallery and also promote other artists intended to be exhibited at the new physical gallery.
London has for many years been central to Europe’s art scene and a favourite marketplace for international and national buyers alike. The city holds a number of internationally leading commercial art galleries and benefits from an unrivalled quantity of highly reputable public art galleries including The Wallace Collection and the Saatchi Gallery.
